What do I think of homosexuality?
The first thought that comes to my head is I'm okay with it. I do not have a problem simply because I think I have no right to judge anyone; to judge them of their lifestyle or what they do in their bedroom. What people do in their bedroom is their own business. A few people in class disagreed to the thought of homosexuality to be okay. It came to my attention that it seemed to be males; I think that this is because the thought of two gay men shows to not be masculine. I don't think it's their fault either for thinking this way; I think like when said in class that it's the portrayal of homosexuality in the media that gets everyone at unease with the topic; it's just the age and period of our generation. During the Greek periods, the male body was what they portrayed as beautiful and a lot of the men back then were bisexuals; they simply got married for reproduction; the female body, i guess you could say, was the way we see the male body nowadays.
On my part I just think you cannot pick who you love, and personally I think that that is the ultimate reason why someone could be gay or lesbian; it's who they are attracted to. To see my view, take into consideration that I'm a female, most females are hopeless romantics. I know not everyone can see my point of view but it just don't bother me. LIVE AND LET LIVE!!
Switch the situation up. How would it be if someone was giving me trouble for being in a heterosexual relationship? Think about it. A lot of perceptions have changed since the Greek periods.

About a month ago, I was really disagreed to the thought of homosexuality to be okay. However, after I had a debate with one of my classmates about this topic and she opened my thoughts, I am currently fine with it. It is not wrong to loving someone because it is just a feeling that every one of us should have. And, loving someone having the same sex as you are does not mean that you have to feel ashamed of yourself or live in an unhappy life, just because the society has not yet approved. Also, no one has a right or power to command others and force others to believe in one’s belief. Therefore, this topic is no longer bothering as long as it does not cause any harm to others. So live and let live.
